Based in a bank branch in Jakarta and working with bank management and staff, the role involves building relationships with customers and providing them with trusted advice to achieve their financial goals.

PERSONAL FINANCIAL ADVISOR (PFA)
RESPONSIBILITIES:
  •     To meet and exceed sales targets by providing customers with financial advice, including insurance and bank product solutions,by following Bank Partner and Panin Life agreed processes, and the primary indicator will be achieving sales of an agreed volume of insurance product solutions.
  •     Making a contribution to Bank Partner branch objectives (generating leads for bank products).
  •     Developing and maintaining effective working relationships with Bank Partner and Panin Life staff.
  •     Maintaining a high level of service with Bank Partner and Panin Life customers.
  •     Fulfilling Company standards relating to record keeping, advice provision and general compliance.working with Bank Partner staff to ensure they have an understanding of complex insurance products and are able to identify and refer customers who have a need for insurance products.
  •     Working with customers referred from Bank Partner staff to understand their financial situation and recommending Panin Life insurance products that help the customers achieve their identified goals.
  •     Undertake all sales processes connected with Bank Partner customers; generating initial enquiries, follow-up up on referrals from Bank Partner, making sales of the most suitable products to customers and generating referrals for new customers for Bank Partner and Panin Life.
  •     Arrange meetings with existing clients, at least once a year, acknowledging birthdays and anniversaries, to review their financial circumstances and life insurance needs. Obtain referral to further prospects, where appropriate.
  •     Ensuring that all customers and Bank Partner colleagues have appropriate expectations of the service from Panin Life and remain delighted with the Company.
  •     Ensuring that any and all compliance requests from internal and external sources are understood and implemented.
  •     To be generally aware of financial markets in Indonesia, including products and competitors, and being able to use this knowledge to answer objections from customer and Bank Partner staff.
REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
  •     Fresh graduates are welcome to apply
  •     Bachelor and Diploma Degree or equivalent from any major, preferably at least two years experience of selling goods or services to individual customers.
  •     Has a professional appearance, and a confident, positive and yet respectful manner.
  •     Excellent listening and communication skills
  •     High levels of enthusiasm and energy and a desire to succeed.
  •     Proven sales expertise and a history of good performance

Bancassurance Academy Leader (BA-L)
Position Purpose:
  •     To work with the project team in the formation of the Bancassurance Academy
  •     To participate in the recruiting and training of the Bancassurance trainers
  •     To undertake a comprehensive selection process of any trainers enlisted into the Academy
  •     To establish the Bancassurance Academy, in line with Sales and Marketing objectives.
  •     Lead the Bancassurance training team, inclusive of trainer recruitment, train-the-trainer, coaching, ongoing development.
  •     To ensure the development of content for the Bancassurance Academy programs and initiatives and ensure aligned to ongoing objectives and evolving requirements.
  •     To plan for, promote and ensure the development of all Panin Dai-ichi Life Bancassurance personnel inclusive of Personal Financial Advisers (PFAs), Area Sales Managers (ASMs) and Regional Sales Managers (RSMs).
  •     To liaise with the bank counterpart to plan and ensure support for Bancassurance training to identified roles within the Bank for insurance sales / lead referral.
  •     To monitor the effectiveness of training to ensure that it is meeting the requirements of the business.
  •     To be responsible for the regular reporting of training results.
  •     To ensure the maintenance of training records as required by the Company.
  •     To ensure the effective use of all training facilities, resources and budget, planning for future needs as identified in business plans.

QUALIFICATION:

General requirements               
  •     University Graduate with at least 5 years work experience, much of which has been spent in a training role for a large/medium business.
  •     Must be highly competent in written and conversational English, as well as Bahasa and be highly numerate.
  •     A track record of successful management of a team of trainers within a medium sized/large business is preferable.
  •     Should have a good record of increasing performance through use of good team building processes and skills.
  •     Must be a good public speaker, used to running training sessions and making team/group presentations – should be able to give examples of successful presentations made.
  •     Must have experience of writing/designing training modules or distance learning materials and have an understanding of learning styles.
  •     Must be in good health, with a history of good heath, and have no disabilities that would prove to be obstacles to his/her performance.
  •     Must be prepared to travel and stay away from home, if required, on a regular basis.

  •     Smartly dressed, professional appearance, with a confident and respectful manner.
  •     Good planning and organisational skills – having a structured and methodical approach to problem solving.
  •     Motivated by achievement of work/personal goals, showing delight in goal achievement of him/herself and his/her team.
  •     Articulate and persuasive public speaker/presenter.
  •     Can be firm when required, but generally prefers to encourage, praise and develop people rather than using a forceful style.
  •     Has perseverance, and focus when faced with challenges.
